  • The College of Nursing, CIHSR is the first nursing college in the State of Nagaland.
    The College has been listed in the Indian Nursing Council’s list of recognized institutions for PBBSc and GNM courses and is approved for 20 seats in the PBBSc and 30 in the GNM program.

    The PBBSc course started functioning in October 2011 and the GNM course has commenced in January 2012.

    CIHSR plans to start the B.Sc Nursing course in 2014 and the M.Sc Nursing course in 2015.

  • The Government of India plans to have six Regional Paramedical Science Institutes in the country.
    For the North East, CIHSR has been selected as the regional centre and an MOU was signed in 2010.

    A detailed project report has been submitted to the Government of India for establishing the centre and is being processed.

    In the meantime CIHSR has already started two courses – the 2 year Diploma in Radio diagnosis Technology in 2011 and 2 year Diploma in Medical Records Technology in 2012.
    Both these courses are recognized by the Christian Medical Association of India(CMAI).
    Capitation Fees and Donations not Accepted.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine(PGDFM)

    CIHSR is one of the CMC centers offering the PGDFM course of CMC, Vellore.
    Eligibility Criteria:

    Valid MBBS Degree
    Motivation to pursue and complete the course as prescribed, in order to improve their practice.
    Women candidates will be given preference.
    There is no entrance test or interview.
