The CIHSR, Dimapur has been conducting a Community Health Clinic at the Old Showuba village since the 5th of May 2009. Several persons were found to have hypertension and so a screening program was conducted on Sunday, the 11th April 2010. All citizens above the age of 40 years were invited.

Sixty persons were screened of which only 8, i.e. 13.3% were found to be hypertensive. Fourteen persons i.e. 23.3  % were found to be on the borderline.

Necessary health education was given and plans made to follow up the patients.
