The Government of India plans to have six Regional Paramedical Science Institutes in the country. For the North East, CIHSR has been selected as the regional centre and an MOU was signed a year ago. A detailed project report has been submitted to the Government of India for establishing the centre and is being processed. In the meantime CIHSR has started one course – 2 year Diploma in Radio diagnosis Technology.
The medical records and laboratory course will start in 2012.
